Ugh! I'm still trying to think about what I want for the holidays. What will I send on the list to Uncle Ian? Take two:
- Scrabble: Diamond Edition
- Animal Crossing: City Folk for Wii
- Chat device for Wii
- iPod? ...maybe
- I have no clue
Grr! I feel bad making a list for Uncle Ian every year and my sister doesn't care. AHHHH!
Alas! The time has come when my Uncle Ian is to send me my last Hannukkah/Christmas/Holiday gift! As I am turning 21 years old in February, my 20th holiday season is my last when it comes to Uncle Ian presenting me with mementos of his travels and other fun things.
I don't mind though. I love my Uncle Ian and Aunt Jill and I hope that when I have a mid-20s crisis they'll help me out. Who knows--perhaps I'll decide to spend an undetermined amount of time living in England and I'll need a place to stay! The other day he told me that their new house is going to have a spare bedroom, so I can visit! YAY!
My grandad has dementia. I want to see him before he turns into someone like my grandma on the other side. My grandma has Alzheimer's Disease and it's been tough watching her mind disentrigrate...
Anyway!
The holidays are just around the corner and I need to come up with a list o' things I want...
- Scrabble Diamond Edition
- MacBook (Yeah, right...like that's gonna happen!)
- Blythe house (My Uncle Garth said he'll make it after Alex's Bar Mitzvah...fingers crossed!)
- Entire Gossip Girl series
- Matryoshka Maiden Blythe doll
- Bird Song Duet (?) Petite Blythes (whatever the 2007 Anniversary Petites were...)
- MySims Kingdom (at least that's what I think its called)
- Blythe clothing (sepecially shoes!!!)
- moccasins (real ones...like Minnetonka)
- new Nottingham Forest jersey/kit/whatever its called
- Flight of the Conchords Season 1 on DVD
I'll probably add and detract to that list. It's absolutely ridiculous of me to ask for a new laptop, but mine is already outdated. Plus- the operating system is Mac OS X Tiger, not Panther/the new one.
I finally read Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. It's wonderful! I highly reccomend it! It's funny too--just like the film w/Keira Knightley. A+ book!
I have actually been reading a lot more since the late summer. Less television and more books...plus school (ugh!). I read the entire Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris which was turned into HBO's True Blood. Love the books and the show, even though there are quite a few differences. I'm not too happy with some of the differences, such as Lafayette's status as a major character on the show. Plus Tara is a major character, is rude/in your face, and black! In the book, she's caucasian, sweet, kind, and a small business owner. The last episode was when Sam reveals to Sookie that he's a shifter and she completely freaks out--something that is not done in the book...
I also read the Twilight series. Also very good. Can you tell that I'm on a vampire streak? I can't wait for the movie, although I am dissapointed with the casting. I've gotten over Robert Pattinson as Edward, but Kristen Stuart as Bella is probably a bad move. I don't think she's a Bella at all. Plus, her voice seems way too deep. Also-- Nikki Reed as Rosalie!?! She was probably hired because Catherine Hardwicke was directing. They've worked together before--remember Thirteen? They should have hired someone way prettier and less annoying.
Other books read: Girls of Ryadh, The Mermaid Chair, The Host
If you could leave notes for the future, what message would you have left in the past for today?

This just might be the easiest question ever asked me. Every single day I think about what I would have done differently in the past.
I would have written:
Study hard! Don't eat when you're depressed. See a psychiatrist for help with depression. Find a sport that you will enjoy and play it! DO NOT GET FAT!!! IT'S HARD TO DIET...EXTREMELY HARD!
What's the greatest video game console on the market? Do you own it or is it on your wish list?
The greatest console on the market today is the Nintendo Wii and of course I own it! The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Pokemon Battle Revolution all kick booty on this system. 100 percent reccomended!!!
Hi! My name is Keira and I am a new vox member. I love many things, but my newest obsession is Blythe. In the past month, I have already purchased two dolls and an outfit set! It was expensive, but totally worth it! Blythe is awesome.
One of my girls is an Ashton Drake and the other is a new Takara Tomy, "My Best Friend." Both were purchased on eBay, another new love of mine. I've named my ADG Blythe Lily, but I don't know what to name my other one.
Of the two, I'm sorry that I have to say I play favorites... "My Best Friend" comes with a chihuahua!!! I was going to name the chihuahua Chipper, after my own chihuahua mix, but it comes in a pink outfit and Chipper is a boy. So, not only do I have to name my new Blythe but I also have to name her little friend too! Anyone have suggestions???
I bought the "Color Me Autumn" outfit set for them to share. Very cute! I've compared them to the Barbie clothing I recently bought to try on them and they are of a much higher quality. The new Barbie dolls made by Mattel have smaller busts, so the clothes fit pretty well, but don't try the pants on your girls! They are WAAAAAAAAAY too long!
I want to try to make some pants for the gals and I also want to buy a pair of UGGs for them to share. They're sisters, so they don't mind sharing clothes...:) Unlike someone I know...Jamie (my sister).
I've starting crocheting a cupcake hat. So far it looks like it will be too small- perhaps the pattern was meant for a petite Blythe? I'll have to ask. Anyway, the pattern is on Chez Michelle's vox page. It's super cute!
I love comments! Don't be afraid to post! Especially if you have name suggestions because I'm totally stumped...

on Wish List...Can't Decide!
